As the three albums before, even "Beam Me In" is a "summer album". The brothers Daniel & Roland Voss (Lemongrass) created a relaxed lounge album with packing grooves and a huge bandwidth of sounds you will discover step by step. The jazzy feeling you will notice throughout the cd, is not least a result of the cooperation with jazz guitarist Michael Arlt. Compared with the former albums "Beam Me In" has a dense and clear sound characteristic. The predecessors carried the listener through dreamy pathways full of spheric sounds to beautiful places. However "Beam Me In" wants to create an atmosphere in which you feel the "Now" and "Here" as a wonderful and beautiful place - full of chances and opportunities. With the wide range of sounds and atmospheres an harmonic listening experience arises. A lot of different sounds from natural instruments out of Asia and Europe were used, underlayed with modern elements of club, lounge and easy listening. |
