Joaquín Díaz's career has been of an out-of-the-ordinary productivity. From the beginning he gave up the search for popularity, in exchange for a more serious and profound work. In addition to his many recordings - soon to exceed one hundred albums - was leaving their songs and their teaching in the world of folk, in public concerts and radio performances.
In this disc not only we focused on the recordings that made for the Radio, but many of the sound engineers with whom he has worked in his career, collaborate marking the entry of several of the songs. The repertoire is the usual in the concerts of those seventies: Sephardic songs to begin with, later Castilian folklore and closing with folk international. In this recording we finally listen to Joaquin in the song "Tum balalaika", one of his favorites, and the public, in his recitals but that he had not yet figured out on record. And next, "Tres hermanicas", "Ya se los cincotos" or "Train of load". Authentic song of an unrepeatable artist.
