Description
As a student and to earn money, Georg Weidinger played for many years as the “One Man Jazz Trio” at various events and company celebrations: The fingers operated the keys of a keyboard or a piano, the feet jumped around on an electronic organ bass pedal and the drums came from electronics. More than 20 years later, after excursions into classical and modern composition, the solo piano as well as the duo and trio playing with various musicians and line-ups, he returns as a "one-man" to the piano trio sound. But this time, the focus is on the perfect interplay, the improvisational joy and the formal composition. Georg Weidinger embarks on a journey through the jazz scene of London, a city that has given him a lot of love and deep friendships. The bassist Adelhard Roidinger sums up his experience with Georg Weidinger as follows: “I can play jazz so well with you because you are not a jazz musician ...!” Have fun with this inspiring “Call from London”!
