On June 15, 2025, the Selfpublishing Book Prize will start a new round! The competition is looking for the best self-published books in German-speaking countries.
We are looking for titles in three categories:
- Fiction
- Children's and youth books
- Non-fiction/advice books
All self-published titles first published between 01.07.2023 and 15.06.2025 and listed in the Verzeichnis Lieferbarer Bücher (VLB) are eligible to enter. The three winners can look forward to prize money of €3,000 each as well as attractive non-cash prizes, which will be announced in the coming weeks. Titles can be submitted from 15.06.2025 to 08.08.2025 via lesehits.de - all information on participation and the submission form will be available there shortly. The award ceremony will take place during the Leipzig Book Fair 2026; the exact date will be announced in good time.
